At the 2024 edition of the Netherlands’ Catalysis and Chemistry Conference (NCCC XXV), held March 4-6 in Noordwijkerhout, PhD candidates Fadhli (University of Groningen) and Jord Haven (University of Twente) were awarded a VIRAN poster prize.

Jord Haven is a PhD candidate at the research group Catalytic Processes and Materials, University of Twente (Faculty of Science and Technology). Fadhli is a PhD candidate at the research group Green Chemical Reaction Engineering of the University of Groningen (Engineering and Technology Institute Groningen, ENTEG). The selection of the winners was made by VIRAN participants at the conference based on the following criteria:

  • clear message and conclusions;
  • visually appealing;
  • a good balance between text and figures; and
  • enthusiasm during presentation of the poster and answering questions.
