PhD candidate Min Li of the Catalysis Engineering group at TU Delft has won a VIRAN poster prize at the 2025 edition of the Netherlands’ Catalysis and Chemistry Conference (NCCC XXVI) which was held March 10-12 in Noordwijkerhout.

In her poster, Min Li presents the results of a study where she used in-situ electrochemical ATR-IR spectroscopy to unveil the active intermediate on a copper surface during nitrate reduction to ammonia. She also elucidated the role of water in this electrocatalysis process. Click the poster to enlarge, or download the PDF here.
