Ing. Melle Nieuwhof is Sr. R&D Expert Circular Carbon & External Collaborations at Nobian’s Innovation Center in Enschede, The Netherlands. He has over 30 years of experience in industrial R&D, including public-private partnerships. In this period, Melle has held different roles in R&D, Technical Service and Business Development before his current position in R&D. His heart is in industrial organic chemistry with a focus on multi-phase catalytic reactors. From 2013 to 2017, he was part-time seconded to the Institute for Sustainable Process Technology as a director for process intensification, advanced process control and systems engineering.
Melle holds a BSc in Chemical Engineering from Leeuwarden University of Applied Sciences.
